Yorkshire Energy World (YEW) invites the Nigerian Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Sayyidi Abba RUMA, to the World Congress on Desalination held in the Canary Islands in October 2007. During the Congress, representatives of Yorkshire Energy World and the Nigerian Minister discussed at length the current situation of water in Nigeria, as well as the need to provide infrastructures for the management of water in the country. The creation of such infrastructures, together with the creation of a National Hydrological Plan, are essential to the future development of Nigeria.
